Communication & issues

Nothing slips through the cracks.

Issue reporting, announcements, notifications — and real time savings for the syndic who runs it all.

Issue reporting, smart contact suggestions and the building address book

Residents report issues directly in Quorum — title, description, category and visibility. Quorum reads each issue and suggests the most relevant contacts from the building address book: the lift company, the plumber on call, the electrician. Managers track every issue through its full lifecycle, and the discussion thread keeps everyone aligned without a single WhatsApp message.

Announcements — for what used to go on the lift door

The piece of paper taped to the lift door was the old way. Quorum replaces it with digital announcements that reach every resident instantly, with optional attachments, type labels and expiry dates so the board stays current and nothing gets missed.

One channel — streamlined

WhatsApp groups, email chains, phone calls and notices on the door — Quorum replaces them all with one place. One announcement reaches everyone, one thread holds each discussion, and targeted email notifications mean the right people hear about the right thing (a vote, an announcement, a comment on their issue) without everyone being copied on everything.

In every resident's language

A Luxembourg building rarely speaks one language. Quorum works in French, English, German and Luxembourgish, so each resident reads announcements, reports issues and follows discussions in the language they're comfortable with. In assembly debates, comments are even auto-translated — so a French-speaking and a German-speaking owner can follow the same conversation, each in their own language.

Frequently asked questions

How do residents report a building issue?
Residents open the Quorum app, tap "Report issue", add a title, description and optional photo, then select a category and visibility level. The issue is immediately visible to the building manager.
Can Quorum suggest a contractor automatically?
Yes. When an issue is filed, Quorum reads the description and suggests the most relevant contacts from the building's address book — e.g. the plumber, lift company, or electrician.
Are announcements sent by email too?
Yes. Every announcement triggers an email notification to all residents. Residents who have read it in the app are marked as "seen" — so the manager knows who still needs to be reached.
How does the procurement pipeline work?
You define your requirements, select suppliers from the address book or add new ones, and Quorum sends the RFQ by email. When suppliers reply, their offers are captured and parsed automatically. You compare offers, validate a contract, and award — all tracked step by step.
