Efficiency

Nothing slips through the cracks.

Issue reporting, announcements, notifications — and real time savings for the syndic who runs it all.

Issue reporting, smart contact suggestions and the building phonebook

Residents report issues directly in Quorum — title, description, category and visibility. Quorum reads each issue and suggests the most relevant contacts from the building phonebook: the elevator company, the plumber on call, the electrician. Managers track every issue through its full lifecycle, and the discussion thread keeps everyone aligned without a single WhatsApp message.

Announcements — for what used to go on the elevator door

The piece of paper taped to the elevator door was the old way. Quorum replaces it with digital announcements that reach every resident instantly, with optional attachments, type labels and expiry dates so the board stays current and nothing gets missed.

Email notifications

Every meaningful event triggers an email to the right people — new vote open, new announcement posted, new comment on your issue. Notifications are targeted: a private issue only reaches managers, a comment on your thread only reaches those involved. People stay informed without having to check the app constantly.

One channel for the syndic

The syndic typically juggles WhatsApp groups, email threads, phone calls and physical notices. Quorum consolidates everything into one platform: one announcement reaches everyone, one thread holds all discussion on an issue, one dashboard shows what needs attention. Less time coordinating, more time deciding.

Automation does the groundwork — the syndic approves

Upload a monthly bank statement and Quorum reads, parses and organises it into expense categories automatically. Set up an assembly and Quorum drafts the convocation, calculates quorum thresholds and tallies the votes. The syndic reviews, adjusts where needed, and approves. The same quality of administration, in a fraction of the time.

Frequently asked questions

How do residents report a building issue?
Residents open the Quorum app, tap "Report issue", add a title, description and optional photo, then select a category and visibility level. The issue is immediately visible to the building manager.
Can Quorum suggest a contractor automatically?
Yes. When an issue is filed, Quorum reads the description and suggests the most relevant contacts from the building's phonebook — e.g. the plumber, elevator company, or electrician.
Are announcements sent by email too?
Yes. Every announcement triggers an email notification to all residents. Residents who have read it in the app are marked as "seen" — so the manager knows who still needs to be reached.
